Luis Pazos, President & Managing Partner
Luis’ diverse assignments across Latin America in the last 18 years have provided him with exceptional expertise in the video game industry and the Latam region.

Prior to his eight years as an IDG partner for Latin America, Luis was a Regional Director for Gamexpress (Mexico’s leading category distributor), where he was responsible for starting up videogame distribution and retail stores in Chile and Brazil. Prior to that, he worked at Microsoft as Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager for Latin America for the video game category, leading the launches of Xbox 360 in Colombia, Chile, and Brazil. Before that, Mr. Pazos held a position as Senior Marketing Manager for AOL México, where he was responsible for managing a $40 million marketing budget, developing advertising, overseeing market research PR activities, and new product launches. Mr. Pazos started his career at Procter & Gamble´s Marketing division where he held positions in Mexico and Brazil. Luis is fully fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and holds a degree in Economic Sciences from ITAM in Mexico City.

Anton Bruehl, Honorary President
Mr. Anton Bruehl founded San Francisco-based International Development Group (IDG) in 1984. For the past 33 years, Mr. Bruehl has provided his business expertise and vision to many of the largest and best known companies in the video game industry.

While Mr. Bruehl was President of Atari International from 1980 to 1984, Atari‘s annual revenues increased from $8 million to over $400 million in less than three years. Mr. Bruehl established Atari subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Benelux and Italy, developed export programs to 28 countries and established a manufacturing venture in Brazil with a leading consumer electronics company.

Under the direction of Mr. Bruehl, IDG was appointed as the exclusive international consultant for Tokyo-based Sega Enterprises from 1986 to 1991, during which time Sega generated more than $1.5 billion in revenues in Europe and Australia.

Since 1991, Mr. Bruehl and the IDG team have worked on numerous consulting projects, mergers and acquisitions, forecasting engagements, intellectual property distribution agreements and recruiting assignments.

Rodrigo Perez, Mexico Country Manager / Miami Distribution
Rodrigo is a well-known and experienced executive within the video games industry in Mexico. He has over 14 years of experience in sales, of which eight have been focused on the video games category. Before joining IDG, he held senior management positions at Synergex and Frontline, key distribution players in the Mexican market. Prior to entering the video game category, Rodrigo worked at IUSACELL Sales Department, one of the leading mobile phone brands in Mexico. He holds a degree in International Business.

João Albani, Country Manager – Brazil
João has a solid 16 years experience in the video game category, and has worked both for publishers (Atari) and key Brazilian distributors such as Positivo, Synergex, and, most recently, Ecogames.  He has held positions in marketing, product management and trade, leading product releases and campaigns for Capcom, Rockstar, Blizzard, Ubisoft, Turtle Beach, Square Enix, etc. João holds a Masters in Communications and Semiotics.

Mayda Mejia, Regional Operations Manager
Mayda has 16 years of experience in operations and sales planning, five of them in the video game category. Before joining IDG, she managed operations for the video games department at Best Buy and Tasmicro (leading PC distributor in Mexico). Her experience in the Operations/Supply areas started at Carrefour and Chedraui (both leading hypermarkets in Mexico), where she worked for eight years. Mayda holds a degree in Business Administration.

Fiorella De Francesco, Territoy Manager ROLA
Fiorella has a solid 16 year experience in the IT market, working with key regional distributors such as Ingram Micro, Anectis, and Distecna S.A, and serving accounts like Microsoft, Citrix, Toshiba, and Dell. Fiorella has worked with numerous multinational corporations in the planning and execution of Sales, Marketing campaigns, launches of new products and geographic expansion.

Before joining IDG in 2015, she worked for SANDISK Corp. as Business Development Manager and Marketing for Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.

Thales Pedrosa, Analyst – Brazil
Thales has experience in digital and trade marketing, having developed campaigns for several major publishers, and has been part of the games industry for years as developer, tester and member of the Brazil Game Show staff. Thales holds a degree in Game Design from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi

Mikhail Campos, Sales & Marketing Assistant
Prior to entering IDG, Mikhail worked in the financial and consumer industry for four years in companies such as American Express, J.P. Morgan, and Colgate, focusing on sales, marketing and back office. He holds a degree in International Business Administration from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City.
